  • Don’t overdo it. Know your limits. Consuming excessively affects everyone around you. Be courteous.
  • Never drive or operate machinery. Use ride shares, public transportation, or designate a driver.
  • Have a plan for how and where you are going to spend your time while under the effects of cannabis.
  • Never give to minors.
  • Don’t consume around children or if you are in care of children.
  • Follow all no-smoking laws.
  • Don’t smoke or vape indoors or around non-cannabis consumers.
  • If you are a guest, ask permission before you consume. If they are not comfortable, don’t.
  • Sharing with friends is okay as long as they are of legal age and you offer education on use and experience.
  • Never be afraid to ask our staff questions.
  • Not all cannabis effects are the same. One brand of product may provide different effects than a similar product from another brand. Use caution.

  • Never give to minors or pets.
  • Never leave edibles lying around. Keep separated from other food.
  • Always leave edibles in original packaging and sealed.
  • Always leave inhalants in original child-safe packaging.
  • Store in a child-safe place and kept out of reach.
  • Consider storing cannabis in a lockable container with a combination lock.

Edibles: Avoiding Accidental Consumption
